The Rev. Dr. John Claypool, Professor of Preaching at Mercer University’s School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia, preaches on “The Creative Power of Kindness,” based on John 8:2-11. Jesus’ response to the woman caught in the act of adultery, he says, is a classic example of the transforming effect of an act of merciful kindness.
