The second Wednesday of every month, from 4 to 6pm, we open our doors and welcome our friends to join us for light refreshments and uplifting conversation.
Each month we invite a notable guest from the Chicagoland community to offer a few remarks at 5pm. Come for as long as you like, and please bring friends - all are welcome!
This month we welcome Xavier Ramey. Formerly Senior Manager of Community Investment at the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, Ramey is now the Senior Assistant Director for Social Innovation and Philanthropy at the University of Chicago. He is also the Openrations Director of the #LetUsBreathe Collective - a community organizing group that combines art and direct action to combat issues of systemic discrimination and police violence.
Please RSVP through this site, so we know how many to expect - but feel free to join us (and bring a friend) even if you don't have a chance to RSVP.
The event is free - there will be wine, there will be cheese, and there will be fantastic conversation. We're looking forward to seeing you!
