Wesley Avram, from New Haven, Connecticut, is the Stephen Merrell Clement-E. William Muehl Assistant Professor of Communication Arts at Yale Divinity School. He was formerly pastor of First Presbyterian Church of WIlmette, Illinois, and served as chaplain at Bates College.
